It had the two featured Ioannes Marcus Marci speakers

Current Status and Scientific Potential of the Atacama Large Millimeter/Sub-mm Array

J. T. Hougen
To mark the occasion of the 20th Conference on High Resolution Molecular Spectroscopy, Dr. Jon T. Hougen gave a very personal account of, on one hand, the goings-on at some of the early conferences in the series and, on the other hand, the intricacies of the Czech language. The session concluded with Prof. Terry A. Miller, Dr. Thomas L. Wilson, and Prof. Per Jensen (Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Germany) being awarded the Ioannes Marcus Marci Medal for their contributions to different areas of spectroscopy.
